PROGRAMMING GUIDES
Standard Offset Rules
2 Meter Band (VHF)
For 144-148 MHz, the standard offset is ±600 kHz. Repeaters typically use a negative offset, meaning the transmit frequency is lower than the receive frequency.
70 Centimeter Band (UHF)
For 420-450 MHz, the standard offset is ±5 MHz. Both positive and negative offsets are common, depending on regional band plans and repeater configuration.
Maintain Accuracy
Local control operators are vital. Submit status reports and updates for your repeater nodes.
